2024 NFL Draft: Three Running Backs to Watch

2024 NFL Draft: Three Running Backs to Watch

By Jordan Reid

April 24, 2024

With the NFL Draft order set, it's time to start looking ahead to the best players available at each position. ESPN's Jordan Reid has named three running backs he likes in the 2024 class:

  1. Bijan Robinson, Texas
  2. Evan Hull, Northwestern
  3. Zach Charbonnet, UCLA

Robinson is a 5-foot-11, 220-pound running back who rushed for 1,403 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2023. He is a powerful runner with good vision and balance. Hull is a 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back who rushed for 1,209 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023. He is a shifty runner with good speed and agility. Charbonnet is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound running back who rushed for 1,137 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2023. He is a physical runner with good burst and power.

All three of these running backs have the potential to be impact players in the NFL. They are all talented runners with different skill sets. Robinson is a power back who can run through tackles, Hull is a shifty runner who can make defenders miss, and Charbonnet is a physical runner who can break tackles.

The 2024 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but it's never too early to start looking ahead to the best players available. These three running backs are all worth keeping an eye on in the lead-up to the draft.
