Real Madrid have won a record-extending 15th Champions League title after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley.

Cristiano Ronaldo put Real ahead from the penalty spot after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had handled in the area. Gareth Bale then doubled the lead with a stunning bicycle kick.

It was a disappointing end to the campaign for Dortmund, who were bidding to win the trophy for the first time since 1997.

But Real were worthy winners and Zidane becomes the first Frenchman to win the Champions League as a player and a manager.
